Terms & conditions
As I run two businesses and have multiple requests for engagements, I need to make sure my time is secured in advance. For facilitation, speaking engagements and workshops:
A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remainder of the invoice will be billed following the engagement.
The deposit is non-refundable if you:
Change your mind and / or request a cancellation 14 days or less prior to the engagement; or
Request a change of date, which is more than three months after the original date; or
Do not provide the necessary information, tools, or logistics to support my engagement; or
You have significantly changed the scope from what was agreed in my written proposal and have provided less than 28 days notice; or
You have failed to provide safe and healthy facilities, travel and/or accommodation
I will refund the deposit if:
I am unable to undertake the work due to unexpected, unforeseen events such as illness, injury, restrictions on travel, or
There are sudden, unexpected, unforeseen events that impact your business’s operations that will make it impractical or impossible for you to engage me (for example, a natural disaster), and
There is little likelihood of being able to reschedule the engagement within three months of the booked date.
If you cancel 28 days or less prior to our engagement:
Any flights, accommodation, or transport I have booked and paid for will be charged to you, unless I can secure a refund or credit from the provider.
If accommodation, flights, or transport is required:
I will book these myself to suit my requirements, however I will only charge your business the standard rate for a room, taxi / uber service, and economy airfare.
Further terms and conditions will be included in the proposal I provide to you for your agreement prior to the engagement commencing.
If you are a coaching client, the following terms and conditions apply:
You must pay 100% of your fee in advance to secure my time – this includes for one-off sessions or a package.
If you cancel with less than eight hours’ notice, your session and the fee (pro-rata or in full) will be forfeited.
If you cancel more than eight hours in advance of our session, you will not forfeit the fee if we can reschedule within the next four weeks.
I will refund your fee if:
The cancellation was unexpected and unavoidable due to what a reasonable person would consider extenuating circumstances (for example, sudden illness), and we are unable to find another suitable time within the next three months to reschedule, or
You are able to demonstrate you are not receiving value from our sessions as promised, or
I am unable to deliver coaching sessions due to sudden and unforeseen circumstances, or
We both mutually agree the arrangement is not suitable for both parties.
Note that any poor behaviour – including being aggressive, dishonest or deceptive, abusive, disparaging or defamatory – will mean an automatic cancellation of all future bookings and no refund will be issued.
As the client, you are responsible for:
Timely reviews, approvals, and responses to requests for information; and
Providing all the information necessary for me to complete my engagement to a high standard and achieve the desired outcomes.
Ensuring your stakeholders are given the information they need to fully participate.
Providing the tools and resources necessary to conduct your session.
